Minecraft 1.21.44 (Bedrock) Update Released: Bug Fixes and Improvements
Attention Minecraft players! The latest update for Minecraft Bedrock, version 1.21.44, has just been released. This update primarily focuses on addressing issues that surfaced with the recent 1.21.40 release, bringing a smoother experience to players across all platforms. As always, keep an eye out for the update notification as it rolls out to your device. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s been fixed.
Bug Fixes
Blocks
One significant issue has been resolved with skull blocks. Previously, all types of skull blocks were being converted into the standard skeleton_skull when opening a world-template locked below version 1.21.40. This fix ensures that this transformation no longer occurs. Please note that any already-affected chunks won’t revert back, so this fix only applies to worlds opened after the update.
Realms
A stability improvement has been made in Realms as well. Some players experienced crashes on multiple platforms when trying to navigate back to Realms Stories after inviting a player from the “Manage Members” screen. This issue has now been addressed, allowing for a more seamless experience while managing Realms.
